Directive on the use of PNR data for the prevention, detection, investigation and prosecution of terrorist offences and serious crime (COM(2011)32)

Considering the risks of violation of the right to non-discrimination, privacy and data protection, the freedom of movement of EU citizens and lawfully resident third-country nationals, and the high costs for the individual Member States and air transport organisations, the Meijers Committee
recommends the withdrawal of the proposed PNR Directive.
