In this document, the Meijers Committee will give an analysis of the new strategy for the future of Schengen. The Meijers Committee will specifically analyse (a) the temporary reintroduction of internal border controls, (b) the Schengen evaluation mechanism, (c) controls in the territory and (d) the enlargement of the Schengen area.
